Laura Dern – Born In 1967

Born to actors Diane Ladd and Bruce Dern, Laura Dern is pretty much destined to pursue a career in acting. Her first foray into it was when she was six, with her appearance as an ex-tra in White Lightning. Continued appearances in the 1980s through films like Blue Velvet and Mask saw her rise to prominence. In 1991, she made a significant breakthrough through her role in Rambling Rose, which saw her and her mother, Diane, nominated for an Oscar each, with Ladd winning Best Actress. In 1993, she achieved worldwide fame for her role as Dr. Ellie Sattler in Jurassic Park.

While film defined her career, her TV appearances were equally successful, with appear-ances in Frasier, F Is For Family, and Twin Peaks. Today, in her mid-50s, Dern still looks quite glowing.
